What is Project Management?

Project management is basically the method by which you control all aspects of a project and bring them all together in a organised manner (preferably a timing plan). This helps you understand the completed and in-completed tasks, who is doing what and when they are doing it.

Your project plan not only helps you but it will also helps your suppliers understand the importance of them getting their part finished on time. If they don’t complete their tasks when they agreed to it causes a knock on effect with the other suppliers and ultimately delays your project.

In my experience people who choose not to plan their projects tend to take longer than someone who spent time planning. Project management is easy and will save you time in the long run. If you don’t project manage be prepared for higher costs.
